Reel in your anchor or lunker fish and set off for some secluded stretch of shoreline on one of the biggest man-made lakes on the Atlantic side of the Mississippi, Lake Cumberland, popular with houseboaters, anglers and water-sports fiends.
This trail begins at the end of the overflow parking area on the west side of Bee Rock Recreation Area and follows a pathway and old road along the Rockcastle River. Turning northwesterly up the hill, it crosses a gravel road and connects with Trail #529 returning to Bee Rock. This trail features numerous scenic overlooks, majestic cliffs, wildflowers, and an opportunity to observe wildlife and fish the Rockcastle River.
