Ashland, a small town in extreme eastern Kentucky, perches on the banks of the Ohio River. The city's downtown features large, ornate homes built by early industrialists.
This trail connects Forest Road 119 to the Rockcastle Narrows East Trail. Most of the trail runs through second growth forest. It passes near the site of the old Warner Hotel, which was built in the 1800's and stood until the early 1900's. All that remains is an old well and the building's foundation. Note: Forest Road 119 is gated. Check with the London District office for current information.
We offer a compact version of Go-Kentucky for mobile users, allowing you to access just the information you need on the road. Of course, you can still use the full version of Go-Kentucky on your mobile device just as you can on your desktop.
